Brady Keran, of Canton, Ga., has verbally committed to play for the Kennesaw State Owls in 2017. The Creekview High School student, who is ranked No. 352 by Golfweek and 93rd in the Class of 2017, made several overtures in his home region during the recruiting process. Keran, 17, made unofficial visits to Georgia, Auburn, Middle Tennessee, Georgia Southern and Tennessee before deciding on Kennesaw State last month. "After touring the campus and meeting with (head) coach (Bryant) Odom, Kennesaw State was a great fit," Keran told Golfweek in an email. "I wanted to play for a competitive program, but I also wanted to stay fairly close to my hometown and my coach, Shawn Koch, at the Country Club of the South.
