Wiggins (No. 28, 2013) commits to Auburn

Victor Wiggins of Gastonia, N.C., has made a verbal commitment to play college golf for head coach Nick Clinard at Auburn. Wiggins made unofficial visits to Wake Forest, North Carolina State, UNCG and Auburn, and had scheduled a visit to Charlotte before committing to Auburn. “Auburn is a world-class place,” said Wiggins, who is home-schooled and enrolled as a junior at Bridgeway Academy. “The coaches are genuine and seem authentically interested in the success of their athletes. As a student athlete, I believe that the people and facilities at Auburn will allow me to fulfill my greatest dream of becoming the best golfer I possibly can. From what I have seen, the Auburn practice facilities are unparalleled.
