A fantastic free-kick from Jermaine Pennant earned Stoke City a deserved 1-0 victory over West Ham in the Premier League at Upton Park. The hosts seemed destined to record a third successive clean sheet in the Premier League as the game headed towards a goalless draw, only for referee Jonathan Moss to penalise Mohamed Diame for shoving Glenn Whelan in the 82nd minute.
