Levermore bounces back

Jason Levermore of Clacton bounced back to his best form to dominate the Wanstead Captain's Charity Pro-Am with seven birdies and one dropped shot. His splendid round of six-under-par 63 left him six shots clear of all rivals. Levermore said: "It was the best I have putted for three years using the AimPoint green reading chart after a visit to Jamie Donaldson. I was getting a bit worried about my form over the last two or three weeks but I have been for a lesson to check on my stance and posture." Joint runners-up were Mark Stokes of Rayleigh Golf Range and Glynn Harris of Mill Hill who were level par on a perfect day for golf. Luke Eggleston (Loughton) and Marc Etherington (Upminster) were both one-over and then there was a gap to the four over score from Mitch Kierstenson (Golf Specialist). The team event was decided on the two best Stableford scores from a team of four....
