On the Rise: With his #CIMBClassic win, Ryan Moore rises to career-best No. 27 in latest OWGR:

After struggling since August, Ryan Moore turned around his game in time to defend his title in Malaysia, ascending to a career-best 27th in the Official World Golf Ranking. Moore, who hadn’t finished better than 40th in his last five starts (including a missed cut in Las Vegas), shot all four rounds in the 60s in Kuala Lumpur to beat Gary Woodland , Kevin Na and Sergio Garcia by three shots. As a result, Moore, who earned his fourth career Tour title, jumped from No. 47 to No. 27 in the world. That’s the highest he’s ever been ranked, after moving as high as 28th after this year’s Phoenix Open. Na also slipped inside the top 30 (from No. 35 to No. 28) for the first time in his career.
