Aaron Wise of @OregonMGolf wins @PacificCoastAm by 2 shots. Story + Scores:

Aaron Wise raced out to a big lead and then held off a charging Beau Hossler en route to winning the Pacific Coast Amateur Friday at Eugene (Ore.) Country Club. Wise, a Lake Elsinore, Calif., native who plays his college golf at Oregon, reached 8 under at one point during his final round, but a double bogey at the par-4 16th dropped him to 6 under. He closed with a pair of pars to finish with a final-round, 4-under 66 and get in the clubhouse at 6 under. Hossler, of Mission Viejo, Calif., and a rising junior at Texas, birdied three of his last seven holes to reach 4 under, where he would finish after a closing 64, the round of the day. Also finishing at 4 under was Maverick McNealy of Stanford, who along with Hossler figures to make the U.S. Walker Cup team. Third-round leaders Will Zalatoris and Bryson DeChambeau each shot 72 to finish in a tie for fourth at 2 under.
