• Dating to 1971, the only two wire-to-wire winners of the John Deere Classic were David Frost in 1997 and Scott Hoch in 1980. D.A. Weibring won in wire-to-wire fashion in 1995, but the event was shortened to 54 holes. • Mattesons 36-hole total of 13-under 129 is three strokes shy of Strickers 2010 record of 16-under 126 for the lowest first 36-hole score at TPC Deere Run. • Mattesons 13-under through the first two rounds is five strokes shy of his 36-hole best. In rounds two and three of the 2009 Frys.com Open, he posted back-to-back, 9-under 61s for an 18-under 132, a TOUR record (by a stroke over Strickers 61-62 at the 2009 Humana Challenge). • Matteson has previously held at least a share of a 36-hole lead three times, most recently at last years Puerto Rico Open.
