(AP) -- A massive storm overnight has suspended the third round of the AT&T National because of several trees on the ground at Congressional. Officials say even if the course gets ready, fans will not be allowed Saturday. The third round will begin at 1 p.m. ET off split tees. (updated tee times ) The storm caused power outages and downed trees throughout the region. Among the problems at Congressional were scattered trees, including a 75-foot tree that crashed down on the 14th hole fairway. Nearly every fairway, especially on the back nine, was littered with limbs -- large and small. Some tents were blown over, and the wooden sign identifying the 11th hole was ripped from its post on the tee box.
