Stanford Athletics Caroline O'Connor Caroline O’Connor has resigned as the head women’s golf coach at Stanford, ending a 17-year career with the Cardinal. “I have been blessed to have the opportunity to be at Stanford for these 17 seasons.” O’Connor told Golfweek . “I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had.” O’Connor, 43, called the relationships with her players and peers the most rewarding part of the job, and is expecting good things from Stanford in the coming year. “We have the infrastructure set for this next year for great things to happen,” she said. “I will always know that I did everything I could to get them to this point.” O’Connor led the Cardinal to 15 NCAA Championship berths, which included three top-5 finishes.
