My wife Carol inspired today's post. Perhaps inspired isn't completely accurate. She deserves props for the idea though. It's based on my asking her to grab a pair of golf shoes from the garage last week. When she returned a couple of minutes after my request no shoes were in hand. The only thing she brought back was an exasperated look on her face. "How am I supposed to tell the difference between your golf shoes and your running shoes? All of them look the same!" Admittedly I could have taken a shot at her. She set me up pretty well. Only one problem: her point was a valid one. Reason is the blurring line that exists today between golf footwear and athletic-looking casual shoes.
