Two players made big changes to their putting, and they're paying off at the @CIMBClassic.

Kevin Streelman's success early in the season can be attributed to reuniting with an old friend. Streelman switched to an old Odyssey Two-Ball putter before the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. He finished second there, and is now in contention through two rounds at the CIMB Classic. Streelman opened the CIMB with consecutive 68s and is in second place, two shots behind Billy Hurley III. "It's funny, I collect Scotty Camerons, and I'm really careful with those, but I have this old Odyssey 2-Ball that I just beat up constantly, and that's the one I end up putting the best with," said Streelman, who leads the field with 1.4 putts per green in regulation. "You can't have too much respect for your putter. You gotta kind of keep it in its place." Streelman said a new putter can yield benefits simply because it gives players different visual stimulation.
