Legends gather One of the many traditions of the Masters Tournament is the Honorary Starters, which recognises some of the great champions of yesteryear. These have included Jock Hutchison (1963-1973), Fred McLeod (1963-1976), Byron Nelson (1981 – 2001), Gene Sarazen (1981-1999), Ken Venturi (1983), Sam Snead (1984-2002). More recently Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus have hit the ceremonial opening tee shot and the pair had the honour again this year when they were joined for the first time by Gary Player. The trio have 13 Green Jackets between them and have been involved in so many of Augusta’s greatest moments, so it was quite a special moment to see them together on the first tee again. Needless...
