Tiger Woods Launches Instructional App for iPhones

Want to get golf instruction from Tiger Woods ? Want to know more about Woods' new swing? Want to compare your swing with Tiger's swing? Tiger Woods: My Swing is available today in the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch. The app, which costs $9.99, is a first for Woods. It was made with Shotzoom (whose previous apps include GolfShot Golf GPS and Golfplan with Paul Azinger and which produces the GolfShot.com website) and proceeds benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation. Tiger Woods: My Swing allows golfers to capture video of their swings. The app, with Woods serving as instructor, teachers golfers to apply swing line analysis (drawing lines on the screen just like golf instructors) to the captured video. Golfers can measure their progress over time, and can compare their swings side-by-side with Tiger's swings. Users can also compare their swings with those of friends. "...
