She's one of the brightest young stars in golf, but Paula Creamer is also something else: someone with a profound respect for the rules of golf . Even if it costs her money. A recent incident (reported by Golfweek ) illustrates the point. Creamer finished 23rd at the LPGA Office Depot Championship a couple weeks ago, earning a check for $11,859. The Office Depot Championship was delayed by weather several times, requiring some players to finish rounds the following morning. Creamer was talking about the tournament with family and business associates when she realized, after she had finished the tournament, that she had broken the rules. Creamer had to finish her final two holes of the event the morning after she had started the final round.
