Chris Baryla: My Hometown article in #ScoreGolf writes of Predator Ridge from his junior & now PGA Tour days:

As a professional golfer on the PGA Tour we are very fortunate to travel to many of the most beautiful locations around the globe. I feel both fortunate and proud to say that I am yet to find somewhere that can compete with my hometown of Vernon, B.C. in the Okanagan Valley. My favorite attribute of the area is the nearly endless opportunity for outdoor activity. Hiking, skiing, boating, fishing, camping, great golf and award winning wineries are all accessible less than 30 minutes from where I grew up. My personal favorite is the Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park recreation area. Its miles of trails, beautiful vistas and pure sand beaches make for the perfect reprieve after a couple months of travelling and competition.
